The photograph below shows Charleston County, South Carolina's Wedge Plantation. It was sent to us by A. L. Lofton, who estimates the shot was taken sometime between 1915 and 1923 by Howard R. Jacobs. He notes, "At the foot of the steps are sections of the original round columns, which were replaced by double square columns, until round columns could be purchased." Wedge Plantation Early 20th Century
The following two photographs show South Carolina's Wedge Plantation in more recent times. They were given to us by Brandon Coffey, who lives in Charleston. He took them in March 2006 while on a tour of Georgetown plantations.
