- 1859 George Washington Dargan died at the age of 56. His wife, Margaret Elizabeth Dargan passed away the following year. George's estate administrator, Julius Dargan also died before the estate was settled which left four heirs petitioning the court in 1863 to distribute Dargan's property (2) (3).
